What is the ethnicity of new social housing tenants in each local authority?

Partial Official data answers part of the question: some categories, some years, some geographies or one stage of a process.

Why

MHCLG "Social housing lettings in England, tenants: April 2024 to March 2025" (from the CORE return) publishes the ethnicity of the lead tenant at England level only (White 77% of new lettings, Black 10%, ethnicity unknown for 11.8% of households) and refers users to Ethnicity facts and figures, which is also England-only. CORE records no religion. Local authority analysis requires the record-level data held by MHCLG and available through the UK Data Service under secure access.
