Offender management statistics quarterly: prison population
Accredited official statistics published about four months after the quarter end. The "Prison population: as at D Month YYYY" accessible tables carry the quarterly file: Tables 1.Q.1 and 1.Q.2 give thirteen monthly snapshots, the other tables five quarterly ones, all as at the last day of the month. A separate annual file ("Prison population annual: data to 30 June YYYY") carries longer 30 June series and is not ingested here.
