ASHE is a 1% sample of employee jobs from PAYE; the reference period is the pay period including a date in April. Estimates for small areas carry wide confidence intervals and ONS colour-codes their quality; provisional figures are revised the following year. Scottish councils and counties are in the file but not in this site's geography registry and are skipped.
