Police Recorded Crime in Northern Ireland: annual tables

The PSNI's long series workbook, running from 1998/99. Table 9.1 is recorded crime by policing district and Table 9.3 the same crimes per 1,000 population, both from 2001/02: the file states that the geographic information needed to place records in the eleven present districts is not sufficient for 1998/99 to 2000/01, so the district series starts later than the Northern Ireland one. The eleven policing districts share their boundaries with the eleven local government districts. Belfast City's four local policing teams are printed beneath its row and are parts of that district, not areas of their own. The PSNI website refuses automated requests, so the workbook is downloaded by hand from the publication page and its SHA-256 recorded here.
