Family Spending workbooks: expenditure by income, region and household type (ONS)
Family Spending is the ONS Living Costs and Food Survey, about 5,000 responding households a year keeping a two-week diary. Averages are across all households in a group, not per person. Regional tables average three years of survey because single-year regional samples are small; workbook 3 (https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/personalandhouseholdfinances/expenditure/datasets/familyspendingworkbook3expenditurebyregion) is loaded as a second release of this family.
